Blanca Lanaspa

Blanca Lanaspa (Zaragoza, 1983) is a multidisciplinary artist whose work moves between image and matter. Her practice explores the relationship between nature, culture and identity through photography, ceramics and material research. Her work emerges from the coexistence of two impulses: one that seeks order and structure, and another that embraces experimentation and immersion in the process.

Her current focuses on sculpture, installation and experimentation, connecting ancestral forms of making with contemporary questions of rootedness, shelter and belonging.

She is currently complementing her artistic practice with a Fine Arts degree at Universidad Nebrija (Madrid), alongside technical research in the workshops of the Escuela de Cerámica de la Moncloa.

She has participated in projects and exhibitions in Spain and Denmark, including Earth, Clay, Tile, City (Service Road) (Art Madrid, 2025), Earth Calls (in collaboration with Javier Ideami, 2021), Scratching the Surface (Copenhagen, 2016), and The Timeline Project (Cinemateket, Danish Film Institute, 2012).
